Celebration update- We have filled our capacity for the Library part of our celebration, but do come and join in with the event in the park from 2pm.

As we eagerly await the arrival of our sculpture, the Legacy Makers and I are planning our celebrations. We would like to invite you to register your attendance for an afternoon of celebrations beginning in the New Central Library.

1pm - Arrive at the library and enjoy some light refreshments from the Jerk Station kitchen

1.30pm - Speeches

2pm - African drummers will beckon our guests into the Green Heart park of Broad Marsh to view the sculpture

2:15pm - Performance by the Greenwood Clog dancers in the park.

2.30pm - Take some photographs and enjoy an outdoor performance by Nottingham’s community choir

3pm - Close
